Author Guidelines

1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted
SCIENTIKA accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original research articles

  • Literature reviews

  • Case studies

  • Technical reports

2. General Writing Requirements

  • Manuscripts can be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English with proper grammar and clarity.

  • Manuscript length: 4,000 – 7,000 words including abstract, figures, tables, and references.

  • Use the journal’s official template, available for download on the website.

3. Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should follow this structure:

  • Title (max. 20 words)

  • Author(s) and affiliation

  • Abstract (max. 200 words) and keywords (3–5)

  • Introduction

  • Methodology

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgments (if any)

  • References

4. Formatting Guidelines

  • Use Times New Roman 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, standard margins (3 cm each side).

  • Tables and figures must be numbered, titled, and sourced if necessary.

  • References must follow the APA Style (latest edition) and use reference managers such as Zotero or Mendeley.

5. Originality and Publication Ethics

  • Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • All authors must adhere to standard publication ethics.

6. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.

  • Final decisions are made by the editor based on reviewers’ recommendations.

7. Submission Procedure

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

  • Authors must register as users before submitting.
